The decision to offer prints of my paintings stemmed from wanting to make my artwork available to anyone who loves it, including those who don’t have room in their home or budget for a 36” x 60” painting.

So I was surprised when a childhood friend contacted me about buying a 36” x 24” enlargement of an 18” x 12” painting. She wanted it signed, so I had the printer ship the print, on textured watercolor paper, directly to me.

I was also eager to check the quality of the print before sending it on to her, concerned about resolution in the enlargement.

It looks great! It’s a slightly different piece because details that are tiny in the original become eye-catching in the reproduction, but I’m pleased with the result.
